Some of the best wineries to visit in France

Lynch-Bages Wine Cellar

Château Lynch Bages is located right next to Pauillac, and it owes part of its name to the old village of Bages, which for centuries was the home of generations of wine growers.

In this wine cellar we encounter wines as exclusive as Château Ormes de Pez, Domaine des Sénécheaux, Château Villa Bel-Air or Domaine Lóstal Cazes, as well as a very special extra virgin olive oil.

Château Margaux Wine Cellar

Located in the Region of Bordeaux and specifically in the Medoc area, we have  this  beautiful winery, Château Margaux.  The estate became  inhabited around the twelfth century but it didn´t produce wine until the sixteenth century.

Lynch Bages Pauillac

Currently this wine cellar produces some the most expensive wines in the world, some of which are:  Grand Vin, Pavillon Rouge, Pavillon Blanc, Margaux

Maison Mumm Wine Cellar

Now we go to the extremely well-known Champagne Region to visit the Mumm winery.

Located in this region since 1827, but with a past tied to wines for two centuries, Maison Mumm is without a doubt a benchmark in the region.

Among some of its Champagnes we find:  Mumm Cordon Rouge, Le Miléssimé 2006, Mumm Victory and some other limited editions.

Maison Joseph Drouhin Winery

This wine cellar is located in the Burgundy Region and it has been in the hands of the Joseph Drouhin family for more than 130 years and today it is headed by the family´s fourth generation.

It is known for its delicate and distinguished wines, whites as well as reds, most notably wines such as Bonnes Mares Grand Cru or Clos de Vougeot Grand Cru

Château Smith Haut Lafitte Winery

Now we will look at Château Smith Haut Lafitte, located in the Bordeaux region.  The estate dates back to the seventeenth century founded by  the DuBoscq family and currently the grapes produced are Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Sauvignon Blanc, Semillón, Sauvignon Gris, elaborating famous wines such as:  Château Smith Haut Lafitte Red 2012, Château Smith Haut Lafitte white 2012, Les Hauts de Smith Red & White
